Au Pair/NJ

There are 7 members of our family.Both "Mom" and "dad" are working in professional careers (engineering), and all five children attend school.We live in a suburban area along the New Jersey shore in a wooded neighborhood of above average single-family homes.Our house is a 4 bedroom colonial (2-story). Thomas, 13, is the oldest and the only boy.He is in the eighth grade.He is fairly independent and only needs adult supervision to make sure he gets his schoolwork done.He is a Boy Scout and enjoys hiking and camping.Thomas also enjoys playing tennis.He loves video/computer games, but we have to limit the time he spends on this activity. Mia, 11, is the oldest girl and wants to be good at everything.She has been taking piano lessons from a Russian teacher and is quite talented, although it is often a struggle to get her to practice.Mia is a very good student & natural athlete and likes to read and play with friends. Sydney, 9, is in fourth grade and a bit on the cautious side.She takes longer to warm up to someone or something, preferring instead to observe from afar.However, once she becomes attached, she is very loving, caring and thoughtful. Nathalie, 7, is in the second grade.She is the most socially outgoing of the children and has a beautiful smile.She is very curious and tends to ask lots of questions.She also seems to need attention, more so than the others, perhaps a product of her being a middle child, Brooke, 4, is a little darling with beautiful curls.This year she started Kindergarten.Everyone loves Brooke.With four older siblings, she seems to act and speak beyond her years and wants to keep up with the others.We are interested in a responsible, outgoing, fun-loving Au Pair, who will enjoy interacting with our children and recognize appreciate/nurture their individual qualities.She should support our focus on academic education (top priority) and music education, and enjoy physical activities.Because of the after school activities that the children are involved in, we need an Au Pair that is an experienced driver to transport them to and from their various activities.We have had experience hosting international students who were visiting the U.S. during the summer several years ago.In addition, we have hosted three Au Pairs (Hungarian, Peruvian, Brazilian) from An Pair in America.We believe we are reasonable in our requests, open and flexible in considering changes and understanding in dealing with difficulties.We are looking forward to welcoming you into our family.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Sommaren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år. Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Sölvesborg, Göteborg, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro och Linköping.
