Au Pair/Ohio

We have a wonderfully easygoing family and enjoy lots of fun, casual times together.We are an open-minded family that appreciates diversity in life.We love to learn about other cultures, enjoy good well prepared food, travel and living abroad (We lived in London and traveled to Thailand).We live in a great community with lots to do and we are close to everything.Right behind our house is a wonderful fitness/community center where we enjoy working out, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, rock climbing, game room and other great activities.We are looking for a unique and special person; someone who is a self-starter, who is warm and friendly, organized, efficient, fun, healthy and happy to play with the children.If you are loving, and upbeat, with a good sense of humor, have a positive attitude and is flexible to work around the needs of the family you will fit in beautifully!Our day to day life is busy.He leaves Monday morning and returns Thursday night or Friday.It's during this time when household errands, meal preparation and general organization are most needed.After school, the children need some help with homework such as spelling words, math facts and reading.Driving to and from after school activities is also important.In the evening, I love spending time with each child to read and just talk.Having another warm and loving au pair to partner with me would be a most welcome addition to our family.Being really comfortable with a flexible schedule is most important to me as, each day is different.If you enjoy having quiet time during the day to organize your day, get things done, and prepare for the children, this is an EXCELLENT job. Gymnastics, music, swimming, soccer, basketball and baseball and love someone who will easily jump in and join the fun or come up with a fun activity to do.You may decide to make cookies with them, take them to the library, read an exciting book or simply play a game.After school the children have homework and chores to complete.Helping the children facilitate getting their chores done and ready for the next day will be a great help.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Fri resa och sjukförsäkring ingår (värde 5800:-) om du har en komplett ansökan före den 31 juli 2008.Gäller vid avresa till USA under 2008.Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
