Au Pair/Pelham, New York.

Hi!My name is Ana Bennet.My husband Jeffrey and I have three children: Paul (11 years old), and the twins Ben and Tami, 9 year old.We have had six wonderful au pairs and are looking forward to another great year with a new Au pair.We live in Pelham, New York, which is a nice suburban village in Westchester County, just outside New York City.We live in a house, and can walk to the station and the downtown shops in under 10 minutes.My husband works for a bank in New York.I do not have a full time job, but am very involved in volunteer activities.I also have a small planting business.Our children go to the public schools in Pelham it is just a short walk from our house to the elementary and middle schools.Our family likes the outdoors very much, and our children enjoy many different sports.We have a busy and fun family life!It's really fun when our au pair likes sports too.The girls play soccer in the fall; they practice once a week and have games on Sundays.During the winter we like to go skiing when we can; mostly we go on vacations from school.One of the girl's favorite activities is Irish Step dancing.She takes lessons once a week.She also takes piano lessons and sings in the church choir.W loves baseball, and in the spring, plays on a. baseball team.Our au pair has its own bedroom and bathroom on the third floor of our house.The kids know that this is the Au Pairs private place and aren't allowed in the Au Pairs room unless invited.Pelham is a great town.There are many, many au pairs who all enjoy getting to know each other and exploring New York City and the Pelham area.Our children have loved each au pair we have had.I really like having a young woman in the house, getting to know her and her interests and her culture.We have had great fun bringing our au pairs on our summer vacation, when we go up to the state of Maine.There we rent a house by the ocean and enjoy sailing, boating, going or, picnics and playing tennis.I think the most important thing that an au pair bring with her is a smile, energy and enthusiasm.If she really enjoys children and wants to experience a new culture, she will have a great year in the United States and a great year with the family!Our au pair is part of our family and we love having her!Tillträde: Hösten -07 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
