Au Pair/Pelham, NY.

Michael is a real estate agent and works in Pelham.Alexis is a real estate consultant specializing in hotels (basically that means she tells her clients what a hotel is worth, and how to make it more valuable).Madison and Mathew are our children (more about them later).Samantha is our current au pair, who is from Austria.Ike is a one-year-old Black Labrador who is very friendly and (usually) very well behaved..Madison is ten years old and loves school, soccer and music.She particularly loves to read and, like most ten-year-old girls, likes to hang out in her room with friends listening to music and talking.She is very athletic, on two soccer teams (Michael is the coach of one of these teams) and also plays lacrosse.Mathew is six- he will be seven by the time you arrive - and is a very normal little boy, which means he is basically a good kid but loves to bug his sister sometimes!He has really loved first grade this year, and is considered one of the friendliest and nicest kids in the class.He played soccer in the fall, but his favorite sport is baseball.We live in a small town (about 12,000 people) called Pelham, which is 30 minutes north of New York City.The house is fairly large, with four bedrooms on the second floor and two on the third.One of the rooms on the third floor is for the au pair.It is a large room, with a bathroom, that is away from the rest of the family so that she, can have some privacy.The other room on the third floor has a desk and computer.In the summer, the hours are more along the lines of 9 am to 6 pm., with no real weekend hours.We belong to a country club, and the kids love to spend time there at the pool in the summer.Many of our friends also belong to the club, so there is always someone to play with and talk to there.Both kids will be going to camp for two weeks at the country club.Mathew is also signed up for one week of baseball camp and another week of Boy Scout (with his friend James) and Madison is going to camp at a ranch for ten days in August.Pelham is a small town, and you can walk to most places from our house.There are also some fun places - like the beach - which are close, but too far to walk.We have three cars, one of which is for the au pair to use in taking the kids places like school or the pool.She is also welcome to have her friend's visit here, and some of the other au pairs in the area stop by often.We hope the same will be true with our new au pair.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Hösten -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
