Au Pair/Peoria, IL

We are pleased to welcome you to our family.We want you to feel comfortable in our home and in your new role.Our jobs keep us busy and you will play an integral and important role in taking care of our two daughters Lauren and Emma.We see ourselves - parents and Au Pair -- as a team.We are both very committed to our family.We live in Persia, Illinois, which is approximately a 20-minute train ride from Chicago.We live in a three-bedroom house on a tree lined street.Peoria has an active downtown with shops, restaurants and several museums.Downtown Chicago is accessible by train.There are lots of other au pairs near our house for you to meet and to go out with.We live very close to the train station, which goes to downtown Chicago.Chicago has lots of museums and cultural events in its downtown area.Chicago has lots of interesting and fun places to go including Navy Pier, the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park.Chicago is the home of blues music and several sports teams.In addition, Chicago has a beautiful lakefront on Lake Michigan where the city provides incredible activities throughout the year.Chicago is also one of the friendliest cities in America.Our home is four blocks from a swimming pool and three blocks from the Illinois Prairie Path which a running and bicycling path.We also live about one mile from Peoria College, which has concerts and a symphony orchestra.We like hg because although it is small, it has many social events and cultural opportunities.We both are attorneys.In our jobs, we encounter a variety of personalities and we have learned to be open to new experiences and have enjoyed sharing our experiences with others.This is our fifth year in the Au Pair Program.We are excited to have you join our family.We like having someone live in our home to care for and play with our children during the day while we are at work.We look forward to learning about your family and home country.We hope we can provide you with an understanding of America and our sights and customs.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Fri resa och sjukförsäkring ingår (värde 5800:-) om du har en komplett ansökan före den 31 juli 2008.Gäller vid avresa till USA under 2008.Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
