Au Pair/Philadelphia.

We live in a suburb of Philadelphia, which is halfway between Philadelphia and New York City.Michael works in Philadelphia 3 days a week and works from home two days a week.He works in Quality Assurance for a software division of an Insurance company.Hilary works in New York City where she is the Chief Merchandising Manager for a luxury goods retailer.We are both very down to earth people and do not require much formality.We don't watch much television or go to the movies.Our idea of a fun Saturday night is to light a fire in the fireplace and listen to music.We have a nice yard and live on a tree-lined street where there is very little traffic.The children can walk or ride their bikes to school with the Au Pair.Isabel:s school begins at 7:50 and Haley:s at 8:45.Both children take piano lessons.The piano teacher lives only five minutes away.The Au Pair is expected to get up with the children, make their breakfast and lunch, make sure they are presentable for school, pick them up from school, supervise their homework, practicing and their play time.During the summer the children take swimming and art lessons.They keep journals and do math homework everyday.They go to the library weekly and we plan different amusements.It is very important to us that our Au Pair be able to monitor the children's homework and assist them if they have any questions.Their academic success is very important and their school is very demanding.It is very important to us that the children have one person who is dedicated to their intellectual and emotional well-being.For this reason we chose to have an au pair.We expect the au pair to enjoy playing with the children, doing arts and crafts, riding bicycles, going to the library and going to the swim club in the summer.The children are expected to keep their own rooms tidy; the au pair will need to remind them of this?The Au Pair will share a bathroom with the girls.It's the chore of all the girls' to keep the bathroom clean.The Au Pair will be expected to make sure the children's belongings are tidy.The Au Pair will have use of a small car on the nights and weekends.There is a bicycle, a treadmill, a piano and a basketball net.The Au Pair will have use of a train and garage pass so she can go to New York on the weekends at no expense.Michael and I most enjoy the time we spend together as a family.We rearely (maybe 3 or 4 times a year) go out on the weekends without the children so the au pair will have almost all of her night and weekends completely free.We look forward to meeting our new Au Pair and hope that she will be happy living with us.Tillträde: Vintern -07 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
