Au Pair/Portland, Oregon.

Our family consists of 5 members: Parents -Paul and Sallie- and children - Billy, Mandy and Rob.We have just moved to Portland, Oregon.Prior to that, we were living in Houston, Texas.Billy is 9.He is the oldest and will be entering 4th grade this year.Billy loves to read.He especially enjoys long books and comics.He loves to design cars and spaceships with legos.His birthday wish this year was to spend the day at the science museum, which he got to do.He is the professor in our family!Mandy is 6 and a half.She will be starting first grade.She is the most caring one of the children and watches out for both of her brothers.She loves to drawl, be read to, play chess, and play family.She would love to take gymnastics lessons and is a great climber.She is the nurturer in our family.Rob is 3 and a half.He is full of life and has a great sense of humor.He sometimes gets himself into trouble and knows how to extract himself with his charming personality.He loves to play with his big sister, Mandy.He will be attending Montessori prekindergarten.I would describe him as the funny pirate in the family!Our week-ends are usually fun.Each week-end is an adventure.The children love it and look forward to it.Portland is a fantastic city.It offers urban living, with shops, cafes, and restaurants as well as museums and performing arts.Drive one and half hours out of town and you are either at the beautiful Oregon Pacific coast or on the skiing slopes of Mount Hood.The weather is rather temperate.Winters are typically rainy but summers dry and sunny.We would like to have an au pair join us as we feel that our children will benefit from a third adult in the family who will teach them, play with them, and keep them safe.Our children are always interested in meeting and adopting new members.We feel it is a wonderful way to provide them with child care while exposing them to a new culture We think our family can offer an au pair with a unique opportunity to discover life in America, while being part of a rather international family!Tillträde: Våren -07 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
