Au Pair/Princeton, NJ.

I would describe us as a very close, typical American family.As parents we wanted a community that offered a quality school system, which would also allow the children to be safe, yet close enough to their friends so that it would be easy for them to play and socialize.I would describe Aidan (our son) as really liking anything having to do with sports.He is very involved in the high school baseball team where he plays third base and has a great throw from third to first.He has a flair for skiing, snow boarding and bowling.He also loves to read, listen to music, go to the movies, watch television and play video games.Aidan is now focused on figuring- out where he wants to go to college. Mia (our daughter) is more into the arts than sports.She loves to draw, paint, sing, dance, and spend time with her friends.Mia has started to write poetry and even won a contest two years ago in her school for her poem.She has been playing the flute in music class and seems to really like it a lot. Unlike most families our childcare experience has been fairly uneventful in terms of problems and turnover.I think this is in part due to our philosophy; that we weren't hiring an employee, but instead were adding to our family.Our au pairs have always been welcome at our holiday table and family gatherings.I believe that all of our au pairs have had a very rich, fulfilling experience.We know from talking with other parents that we are very lucky to have someone who cares so much about the children and who is responsible and a part of the family.We are not interested in an au pair that only wants to party, drink, and stay out late with her friends.We also understand that as young women, the au pairs need time to for themselves and their friends.About the Area We live outside Princeton, New Jersey, Home of Princeton University.Princeton is a wonderfully charming town with lots of college students there all the time.We five equidistant from New York City and Philadelphia; both are about one hour away.While I would never recommend an au pair drive in either of those cities, trains are easily accessible to those cities.There is so much to see and do in New York and Philadelphia, everything from museums, zoos, theatre and the arts, historical landmarks, etc.It could easily take up a year or more!Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Hösten -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
