Au Pair/Riverdale, New York.

We are a family from the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York.My husband and I are both lawyers.I work four days a week for AIG which is a large insurance company located in downtown Manhattan.My husband works in practice in midtown Manhattan.We live in a private home in a semi-urban, semi-suburban residential neighbourhood, with terrific access to Manhattan as well as to Westchester County with all they have to offer.The Au Pair would have its own room on the third floor of our house.The Au Pair would share the kid's bathroom on the second floor of the house.Kate is a very happy and affectionate girl.She likes to play with her dolls and she enjoys playing the piano.Oliver is also a very happy kid, although he can be wilful at times as I think al boys can be.Oliver is more active and he enjoys running around outside as well as playing with toys in the house. As for our scheduled, I leave for work at about 7:00am.I get home anywhere between 6:00 and 7:00pm.Tom Leaves home for work at about 6:30am and get home between 7:00 and 7:30pm.The Au Pair would need to get the kids ready for school and drive them to school at about 8:15am.We would expect the Au Pair to work around the house (e.g., make the kids beds, clean up breakfast dishes, wash kids laundry, etc) in the morning.This should only take an our or two.At 3:30 the kids get off the school bus and across the street from our house.So the Au Pair would meet them at the bus stop at 3:30 each day, walk them home across the street and stay with them (having some fun, supervising homework, otherwise engaging their imaginations, etc., but also getting them dinner, bathing them, and getting them their pyjamas) until we get home at about 6:30 or so, and to help out generally for another hour or so if needed.Weekends are much less structured and we would ask the Au Pair to baby sit occasionally on Saturday nights.In addition, sometimes the kids have school holidays, or they get sick or something comes up.So on occasion there might be day-long assignments and one might arise on short notice.And, summer hours will be more extensive, with different schedules for camp, etc.Tillträde: Hösten -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
