Au Pair/San Francisco, California.

Matt and I have been together for 10 years, and married for 5 years.We have lived in our current home for nearly 3 years.Our home is a 3 bedroom raised ranch style home at the end of a cul-de-sac in a suburb of San Francisco, California.I am a school social worker, and work 5 minutes from our home.My work hours are according to the school schedule.I am home on snow days and school vacations - I work a total of 186 days per year.I am also currently a graduate student studying school psychology.My husband is a toolmaker and has worked for the same company for over 20 years.He works 20 minutes away and is out of the home approximately 50-60 hours per week.We are looking for someone to care for our three children from approximately 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.The days and times may fluctuate and we are pretty flexible if and when we need to be.Overall our children are pretty easy going, although the twins are starting to test boundaries and have more temper tantrums - but only once or twice a week.Patric is an easy baby - he sleeps and eats well and his sisters are always willing to help.It will be important for our au pair to be able to multitask and watch out for the baby while caring for the twins.Our home is set up so the children have a playroom filled with toys and the backyard also has many activity toys.The girls love to watch Barney, Wiggles and Teletubbies.They enjoy reading and are always ready to take a walk in their stroller.A typical day starts when they wake - between 7:30 and 8:30.They begin with a bottle of milk and then have cereal between 9:00 and 9:30.They then play inside or outside depending on the weather until 12:30 - when they eat their lunch.After lunch they take a nap around 1:30 and usually nap for 2-3 hours.They usually wake between 3:30 and 4:30.During this time the au pair is able to cleanup from the daily activities, help with laundry, pick up toys, clean up from lunch, etc. We are generally flexible people.We are willing to discuss any of the above information with a prospective au pair, and may be willing and able to make some adjustments if necessary to the above information.We also believe that no question is stupid and that we cannot help fix something if we do not know about it.We would hope our au pair would be open and honest and communicate any questions or concerns as they arise rather than letting the problem or concern get worse.Tillträde: Hösten -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
