Au Pair/San Jose, California

Welcome to a small glimpse of what life in our family is like.We are a blended family with 4 great kids.We have been married for 2.5 years and have come to realize that with all the carpools, activities, and sporting events we need some help.We are looking for a responsible fun loving person who would help our children meets the challenges of their daily lives.We like the chance to learn about cultures besides our own.Our children range in age from 8-12.We would like them to learn to be responsible adults but as most kids their age they need guidance to do their chores and clean up after themselves.People tell us frequently that they seem to get along better than biological children.The children are enrolled in 3 different schools and such we will need help driving the morning carpool at 730am.This should take about an hour total time.After that the youngest gets off from school at 230pm.Depending on after school activities, homework, chores and the likes we will need help in the afternoon with this.We are usually home by 6pm.I am a certified nurse-midwife and I work a rotating schedule (days and nights).I have two masters' degrees from.One in nursing and one in public health.I work part time, 20-30 hours a week.Alexander owns an insurance company and works full time.His master's degree is in insurance.Alexander has always had custody of his children and is the most hands on dad you will ever meet.His job does require him to travel occasionally but he does try to limit this.We have no big pets but a nice supply of fish and a guinea pig.We would also like a someone who is active and likes sports.Our children are involved in swimming, basketball, dance, baseball and music.We would like someone who would encourage our kids to play outside instead of watching TV or playing on the computer.I hope this gives a glimpse inside out family life.We look forward to meeting the right person for our family.Tillträde: Våren -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
