Ben and I have had 12 years of marriage to build a wonderful relationship and home; however, we did not have children until just this year.We spent all of January and most of February in Hungary getting acquainted with the boys and building our new family.The boys were born to a mother who was an orphan herself and not able to care for them.After birth, the boys were placed in Foster Care with one very loving family including two daughters of their own.Once with us, the boys initially missed their foster family very much.Professionally, I am a Product Manager for a software company.I have a home office and work out of our home.My husband, Ben is an Engineer and is currently staying home with the boys.Ben has designed and is building an apartment over our garage.The apartment, which is intended for your use, is a studio with a full kitchen and bath.While we intend to have you integrate into our family, we are pleased to be able to provide you the privacy that the studio apartment will allow.Simon will be starting preschool soon and we expect this will rapidly help him improve his use of English.Both boys understand English now; however, they still speak to each other in Hungarian.They currently have an English speaking vocabulary of about 50 or so words.We expect by June of this year they will be speaking English at a level close to appropriate for their ages.The boys show strong interests in music, swimming, and outdoor activities in general.I myself participated in and enjoyed study abroad programs in Spain while I was in High School and in England while at University.For these reasons, we would like to open our home to a childcare giver who can benefit from the Au Pair experience in addition to assisting us with our childcare needs.Our family enjoys gourmet cooking (and eating), playing on the beach, walking our dog, playing music (guitar), computers, photography, biking, skiing, camping, hiking, swimming.We have a close neighborhood group that we see often.Our hope is that the Au Pair can achieve her own professional and career goals while enjoying being part of a loving family on the beautiful coast of California.Our home is located only 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean.For educational options, Santa Cruz is home to a University of California campus as well as Cabrillo junior College.We look forward to meeting you soon.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Hösten -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
