Here is a short history of our family.We (Theresa and Dan) have been married for twelve years.In 1995, we moved back to the Northwest to start a family near our relatives.After maternity leave; Theresa went back to work, changed careers and became a mortgage banker.Two years later, we decided to have another baby, and our son Matt was born, also at home.In May 2000, we moved to a four bedroom, three bathroom house in a new neighborhood near Snoqualmie, WA, a small town located in the foothills of the spectacular Cascade Mountains, about a 35-minute drive east from Seattle.In February 2006, we will move into a larger new home in the same neighborhood.With both of us working, we decided an Au Pair would be perfect for our two young children.We now have had six au pairs, one from Peru, two from Lithuania, one from South Africa, one from Thailand, and our last au pair was from Germany.We are now looking for a new au pair who would like to be part of our family: someone who enjoys suburban living, being near the mountains, and dinners with friends and family.The qualities we most desire are warmth, trustworthiness, and love of children.Samantha is a smart and loving nine year-old who is in third grade.Matt is an energetic six year-old who is growing like a weed.Matt is in first grade.Both children are in full time public school.Our goals for our children are that they grow up happy, healthy and surrounded with love.Samantha and Matt enjoy playing with the many neighborhood children on our street.Samantha has played softball for three years, and started soccer this year.She also loves music and dancing.Matt has played baseball for two years, and also played soccer this year.He also loves video games and Bionicle toys.Our family activities have included camping during the summer, skiing and sledding during the winter, and Mexican food at our favorite restaurant on Friday nights.We like having an au pair because we want our children to experience a higher level of care than we can, find elsewhere.We also want them to have a wider view of the world, and we believe an au pair brings some of her home into ours.We want our au pair to enjoy her stay here.We are walking distance to the small town of Snoqualmie and beautiful Snoqualmie Falls.There are many wonderful hiking trails nearby, and a major freeway leads straight into Seattle and all its attractions.Thank you for your consideration.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Våren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
