We are pleased to introduce ourselves.We are a family of four: Chuck, 32, LeAnn, 33, James, 4, Andrew, 18 months.We have two pug dogs: Izzy and Sally.Chuck works as a writer for Microsoft Corporation.LeAnn is a fundraiser at the University of Washington.We spend a lot of our time together as a family; going for walks, playing around the house, and working in the garden.We also enjoy getting out in Seattle and seeing some of the local sites like the Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, and Seattle Science Center.We take an active role in the lives of our children.We are very affectionate with them. James is much fun to be with and has one of the greatest laughs ever.He has an active imagination and enjoys playing make-believe.He spends three days a week-Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays-----at daycare.He will wake around 7 AM and have cereal for breakfast, get dressed and off to school or do morning activities like reading, arts and crafts, or legos.He has a snack at about 10:00 AM and lunch around 12:00 PM.After lunch, he'll do more activities like playing outside, then he has quiet time.Around 5 PM he has dinner.Evening activities may include learning on his computer, then he'll have a bath.At bedtime we read him books and by 9 PM it's lights out and goodnight.Andrew is a cute little guy with a loving smile.He's fun to hold and likes to snuggle close.His routine involves waking around 7 AM.We feed him cereal for breakfast.His activities include reading books, playing with building blocks, and arts and crafts.He has a snack at about 10:00 AM and lunch around 12:00 PM.After lunch, he'll take a nap.We live in a two story, five bedroom, three bath house.Most of the activity is on the top floor, where the master bedroom and kids' rooms are, as well as the kitchen and living area.On the lower floor is the two car garage, recreation room with TV and play area, an office, a utility room, a bathroom and a guest bedroom.The bathroom and guest bedroom, which the au pair uses, are separated off from the recreation area by a hallway allowing for privacy.We have cable television and high speed Internet connection. The safely of our chiidren is our number one concern.After that, we expect the au pair to care for our children with love, patience, and respect.We want the au pair to be a teacher as well as a caregiver to the kids.
