Au Pair/Shawnee, KS.

As new parents, we are seeking to add additional loving hands to our household to help care for our twin sons.We feel that the cultural experience of the Au Pair program is the best way to go, and hope to find the perfect Au Pair to come join our family!They were born on March 2nd and have been keeping us very busy!Fortunately, we've had lots of extended family come and stay with us to help out with the boys, but we are in need of a more steady solution.Clark was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States when he was three.He has three main hobbies - fishing, riding his motorcycle for pleasure, and snowboarding.As for Jessica, she was born in Houston and enjoys doing arts and crafts, shopping and skiing.We all enjoy going to the theatre and attending local cultural events.Jessica is also in the Junior League of Kansas City and spends a lot of time doing volunteer work in the area of children's literacy.Clark is a Vice President with an Internet company, which requires him to work long hours.Jessica is currently taking time out of her career to take care of the boys, but may return to work later this year.As a member of our household, you would of course have access to our computer with high-speed Internet to stay in touch via email with your friends and family back home.Shawnee is a suburb of Kansas City and so we have all the benefits of a large city.We have wonderful museums, theatres (plays, concerts with popular artists, musicals, symphony, opera, ballet...), amusement parks, awesome shopping, and even professional sporting teams (the Kansas City Royals for baseball and the Kansas City Chiefs for football).It has a low cost of living.It's also a very safe city with low crime, and the people are extremely down to earth and friendly. As for the twins, generally they are very happy and healthy little boys!They are not identical, so it's easy to tell them apart.Daniel is a little bigger than Andrew and is very laid back.He sits back and soaks in everything and smiles all the time!However, when he wants something, he lets you know it.Andrew the quieter one, but he's also the more active of the two - always curiously looking around at everything and constantly in motion.Our main goal is to find someone special to help us care for our little boys.We are looking for someone who is experienced and loves to be with infants.We hope that the year turns out to be good for the twins and their development, as well as a long-lasting friendship between the Au Pair and our family.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Sölvesborg, Göteborg, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro och Linköping.
