Au Pair/Silver Spring, MA.

We would like to have an au pair because we need child care for our two children AND because we enjoy people and other cultures.We are a family of four (plus a dog!) living in Silver Spring, Maryland, which is just outside of Washington D.C.My husband and I have been married for 19 years.My husband is a PhD economist who works full-time a large association representing older Americans.I have a master's degree in public policy and work full-time as a manager and research director of a non-profit organization that supports policy decisions in education and human services.We met in Washington over 20 years ago after growing up and studying in New York state and California, respectively.We love the Washington, DC area because of our jobs, friends, professional and social communities, and because we like what cities have to offer.Eric turned 12 in April and Brian turned 9 in March.Eric currently attends middle school at a small private school in Silver Spring, though he will most likely attend public school in the fall.Brian is currently in 3rd grade and attends a private school in Washington, DC that is about I 8 minutes from our home.We also have a friendly, adorable 2-year old beagle mix.Our goals for our children are that they should develop their capabilities and talents while exploring the world and enjoying learning and interacting with others.Eric is a bright, warm, sensitive, and loving boy.He strives to do well in school and to please adults.He is very creative and talented in art, design, theater, singing and many other ways.Due to some learning and social difficulties, he attends a school program for kids with learning disabilities and benefits greatly from warm and nurturing adults who can provide the attention as well as structure and guidance he needs.We would welcome the opportunity to share our household with a young adult from another country who is equally interested in sharing a warm family life, nurturing our kids, and sharing their culture with us.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Hösten -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
