Au Pair/South Orange, NJ.

My husband, Keegan and I have a little two-year-old girl named Peta who is the joy of our lives.Keegan is a Mechanical Engineer and I am a Structural Engineer.We both work in New York City and live in South Orange, NJ.We are both in our early 30's, and are expecting our second child early September 2006.We are both of European origin, and between the two of us speak Italian, French, Armenian, Arabic and of course English.Someone from another culture will be very much at home in our household.We travel to Europe annually and are very much in touch with our cultures.Peta goes to daycare.Keegan drops her off in the mornings and I pick her up in the afternoons.Once our second baby is here, I plan to take off about 4 months from work and stay home to take care of the baby.Our au pair will only need to take care off Peta that time.She will not be responsible for the newborn After I return to work, we would tike our daughter to start pre-school at a nearby Montessori, every morning from 9-12:30 pm.We would ideally like our Au pair to drive her to school and back, and we are looking for someone who has some driving experience, as we know how dangerous driving can be, especially with children in tow The qualities that we are looking for in our Au Pair are: honesty, reliability, good solid common sense, experience with children, patience, someone who is quick on her feet and can react calmly in an emergency situation, and someone who is caring and loving with our children We are interested in an Au Pair Extraordinaire, but we are open to receive applications form regular Au Pairs as well.We expect our Au Pair to prepare food for/feed and clean the children, tidy up any of the children's toys and/or clothing, read to the children and plan activities daily, go to nearby parks/swimming pool/library, socialize with other Au Pairs/nannies and do the children's laundry.We are a very loving family who would embrace someone in our home, provided they respect our home and us.We are open, honest and direct and will welcome someone who will be there to take care of our children with respect and caring.We live 1/2 an hour from New York City and live in a very young and bustling town We are social on weekends, and will always include our Au Pair in our activities.Please let us know if there is any other information that you'd like to have.Tillträde: Vintern -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
