Dear Au Pair, We are a very active family, and try to make the most out of every day.We live in a 4 bedroom house in Springfield, Virginia, about 20 miles outside of Washington DC.We could not be happier now that we have two wonderful kids, Allison and Bryan.The two of us graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, New York.Luke studied accounting and is currently a Consultant.Mary studied food and hotel management and is currently Director for Restaurant Associates at Smithsonian's Natural History Museum.We have both been in our careers for over 10 years.Our daily "weekday" routine has become quite tough on all of us.We need to wake the kids at 6:30 am to get them ready to take in to daycare.We all commute together in to Washington, and unfortunately are all spread out over the city.We drop the kids off by 8:30am and pick them up approximately 5:30pm.One of the reasons we would like to have someone stay with the kids is the amount of time we spend lugging them around.We know that we can turn that time in to more quality time spent with our kids.Allison loves to play with other kids as well as her teachers.She especially likes to draw and create different forms of artwork.She is accustomed to a 1.5 to 2 hour nap per day.Her speech is very good for her age from what we can tell.Allison possesses a great deal of energy and it will be very important that we find someone that enjoys many activities and will keep her busy.Jordan is a very happy little 3 months old and is adored by her caregivers.On the weekends, we try to plan different family activities; and often get together with friends.The Au pair would be welcome to join us or take time to herself if she chooses.Also, we like to go on 2 different weeklong trips throughout the year.Our Au Pair would also have the choice to come with us.In a nutshell, we are a very happy family and think that we could do a lot of good for all of us with an Au Pair, including the Au Pair.We feel we can offer someone a very comfortable place to live in a nice neighborhood, which is close to many things, including a community college.Our kids will benefit because they can get proper sleep, individualized attention, and spend more time at home, instead of in a car.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Sommaren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år. Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Sölvesborg, Göteborg, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro och Linköping.
