Dear au pair, We are very excited about the possibility that you may join our family in Sturbridge a small town in central Massachusetts.Sturbridge is a rural - suburban community providing many opportunities for an active outdoor experience.Our home is located on Walker pond, a small lake that provides much of our recreation year round.Swimming, canoeing, boating and water skiing are common summer activities that occupy the majority of our free time.In winter X-country skiing and ice-skating along with hiking and sleigh riding are eagerly anticipated along with the first snows.Downhill skiing usually occupies at least one winter week.Sturbridge is one hour from Boston, probably the best small city in America.Boston is home to multiple universities that provides a focus on activities for students and has universally been a favorite weekend destination for all of our former au pairs and occasionally our family as well.Worcester only 20 miles away is home to 13 colleges so that educational opportunities abound.Throughout the year our children are actively involved in all these activities along with basketball, softball and soccer, played on the school teams.The primary love of our daughters is dancing which occupies a good portion of their after school time.Otherwise our children are all in school 5 days a week.The exception is the youngest Kate who goes to school in the morning but is to be home by 12.Driving the older children to their afternoon activities will be one aspect of your responsibilities.We are both physicians, Jane specializes in the care of the elderly and I work in the Critical Care unit of a large teaching hospital.Jane will be home well before dinner most nights.Our goals for the children are that they be raised with love and discipline.Your role will be similar to our own.Your responsibility for helping us raise our children is the most important aspect of what you will be doing and you will be given our total support in this endeavor.Our experience with eight au pairs has tremendously enriched the lives of our entire family.We would like you to be a part of our family and provide you with the same type of love and support that you would expect from your own family.We have developed very special relationships with several of our au pair's that continue to grow even today.This is what we hope will occur when you join our family.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
