Au Pair/Suffern, NY

Abigail is our oldest and will turn six in August.Samantha is a year and a half younger, currently 4 with a birthday in June.Brooke, our youngest, is forever trying to keep up with her sisters.She will be two in March.Nathaniel and Katelyn (that's me) round out the family.Nathaniel is an engineer by training whereas I'm a scientist.Brooke is about to start Kindergarten.Her school schedule will be five days a week from roughly 12 noon to 3:30 pm.Our township will provide bus pickup from the street corner near our home.Abigail will be in her second year of preschool, which will be for three afternoons a week, M-W-F.We hope to start Brooke in preschool as soon as she becomes potty trained which we expect to occur in the next few months to half year at most and which would match her sister's track record.Abigail verbal abilities are incredible and she is quite the leader of the pack.When artfully directed in a good direction she is a joy.She equally helps her sisters and us.Although she, as all our girls can be stubborn, it really is more of watching to make sure she rests when needed.Samantha is cutie pie, real sensitive and sharing.She has an incredible infectious laugh that is just a pleasure to hear.She loves to catch butterflies and has a real knack for gently reaching out and catching them by hand!She also likes catching worms! Brooke is a riot.She loves to laugh and is probably going to be our family comedian.Although not yet two, she is right into everything with her sisters.Just becoming verbal, she is quite proud of mastering a new word, no matter that only sisters, Mom and Dad can usually interpret it.We're fortunate to have a great big house.An Au Pair would have private stairs leading to their private bedroom, bath and sitting room.Our former nanny, who stayed with us for four years, loved the arrangement.The downside of a large house is that one must corral the energies of our kids so that the entire house does not become a playroom.Specific household rules revolve around creating the best environment for our children.A safe and loving environment top all other criteria.That said, smoking is not allowed.New York City is an easy 1 to 1 1/2 hour commutes.Closer to home, Suffern NY is adjacent to Mahwah and provides a taste of old mill town that has come back with fun, distinctive downtown less than 10 minutes away.Even closer to home, Ramapo College is located across the road at the end of our street.Tillträde: Hösten -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
