Dear future Au Pair, Let me introduce my family and myself to you in this letter.Nikolai and I met nineteen years ago at University in Switzerland where he grew up and I moved to after having lived in the United States until my teen years.We both come from families with international backgrounds, his being French and Swiss and mine being American and Swiss with same Italian mixed in.Twelve years ago we both had the opportunity to relocate from Zurich and work in New York for our employers, and of course jumped at the occasion.After living in the "Big Apple" for nearly two years we chose to relocate north of the City to Tarrytown which is a beautiful town approximately 35 minutes by train from New York City. Nine years ago we had our first daughter Allison, Allison who is a very active girl.She loves music, singing, playing "Barbie" but also loves to help her father doing repairs and renovations around the house.You would be surprised how well she can use a hammer and a nail.Her passion is swimming and having had the ocean at our front door for three years, she has become an excellent swimmer. She is the happiest little girl you could imagine with a great sense of humor.She adores her big sister.She is a very open and funny little girl who has no fear and is always keen on imitating he big sister.She is very outgoing and also very independent.This allows the Au Pair most evenings off.This gives you a great opportunity to discover New York City and the surroundings or even take a trip to Boston or Washington for the weekend.We've encouraged our Au Pairs to travel as much as possible and really discover the area, as this is a unique opportunity for anyone to live in this area.Nikolai and I have always enjoyed to travel as a couple and now as a family and believe that these experiences will make our daughter's lives so much more interesting and fulfilling.When I was younger, my four siblings and I grew up having Swiss Au Pairs help care for us.I had always enjoyed a special relationship with each, considering them my older girlfriend.I see that my daughters are building similar friendship.This is now our ninth year with an Au Pair living in our home and sharing our family life with them.We have had many positive experiences and maintained close friendship with all of the Au Pairs.Tillträde: Hösten -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
