My husband (Ken Ross) and I both came to the US about 8 years ago.I come from New Zealand and my husband came to the US from Israel after completing military service.We have twin boys and live in Herndon, Virginia.Herndon is located 25-45 minutes drive (depending on traffic) southwest of Washington DC.We live in a two level home in a lovely neighbourhood near the town center and close to many amenities and recreational areas (i.e.walking distance from local library, gym, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf course and bike trail to Washington DC).Our sons who came into the world on June 29 th 2000 are fraternal twins.Although very different in personality, they are both pleasant and engaging.We have been very lucky to have the grandparents here from both New Zealand and Israel to help out the first few weeks.We found an extra pair of hands very useful when there are two mouths waiting to be fed.
