Au Pair/Washington D.C

To Our Future Au Pair, Hello!My name is Helen.My husband, David and I are looking for an au pair to join our family.I would like to introduce my family to you.We live in a suburb of Washington D.C.I am an attorney, and my husband is a physical therapist.We love the outdoors.David is a very fast runner and runs every day.We both enjoy riding our bikes and hiking.We have a 2 1/2 year old son and a 7-month old daughter.Our son's name is Mathew.He is fun, charming, sensitive, and loveable.He loves to read books and dance to music.He also loves to play outside.Mathew usually wakes up between 8 and 9 a.m.Four days a week, he joins a playgroup in the morning.He takes 1 nap during the day.The rest of the time, he plays at home and outside.He sleeps at 9:34 p.m.He will start pre-school next year.Our daughter's name is Danielle.She is a very good baby, interactive, sweet, and loves watching her brother.She wakes up around 10 a.m., takes 2 naps a day, and goes to the bed at 10 p.m.We live in a house.Your room in our house is upstairs on the same floor as the other bedrooms.Your room is a good size and has 4 windows.It is a bright room that has much light during the day.There is a full-size bed, a portable stereo (to play the radio or CDs), a computer, and a closet.It is a cheerful room.We live close to Washington D.C.- about 10 miles (16 kilometers) away.David and I both work in Washington.We live close to the metro station (10 minutes driving or 15 minutes by bus).The metro to downtown Washington takes about 30 minutes.Washington is a great city and has many, restaurants, stores, free museums, and interesting places to visit.There are always different events going on.D.C.is a beautiful city where you can bike, walk, and run.We are looking for someone who is friendly, caring, and warm.We are a warm family and interested in having an au pair who wants to become a member of our family.We want to talk with you and learn about you and your culture.We would like an au pair who likes to talk and who is outgoing.We have had a great experience with two au pairs already, one from Brazil and one from Thailand, and we hope to have another wonderful experience with you.We have learned that the best au pair for us is an au pair who is similar to us so we want an au pair who is mature, makes friends easily, and who is independent.If this describes you, then you would be a good fit with our family.We hope that you take the time to consider whether your host family will be a good fit for you.Choosing the right family is an important decision and will help you have a great experience here.So, to help you in your decision, please feel free to ask us any questions you may have.We hope to speak with you soon, Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: våren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
