Au Pair/Washington, D.C.

We have 4 children but only 2 of them are still living at home our 11 year old son and our 16-year-old daughter.Our 18-year-old daughter has just started at the University of Colorado.My husband and I are both lawyers and work in Washington, D.C.Our youngest 2 are both alert, happy, curious and energetic with active senses of humour!Our daughter goes to school about 15 minutes from home and is soccer mad.She got a Learner's permit this September and looking forward to getting her full driver's license very soon.Our son is currently into tennis, but he loves all sports.He also studies piano.Since he started first grade he has attended the first public school Mandarin immersion Program and seems to really be catching onto the language.Potomac, where we live, is a suburb of Washington, D.C.Formerly it was an area dominated by horse farms, but it has been developed in recent years.Our house is in an area about a mile up from the river and is a good size for us all.As a family we all love athletic activities-swimming, tennis, hiking and occasionally skiing.We try not to watch too much television and enjoy board games.We're principally looking to you to help out with our youngest son.Your schedule will revolve around the children's so you'll be getting them ready in the mornings and again when they get home.You should have enough free time in the say to take a class.We will also need your help on some evenings or weekends when travel dictates that we are away.We've been on the Programme since it started 16 years ago and love the international exchange element.Tillträde: Vintern -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
