Also there are three cats.Oliver is a police officer in the residing county and Carol is a stay-at-home mom.Oliver's hours causes him to work evenings from 4pm to 2am and have a different schedule from the typical work week; works five days, gets four days off, works five days, gets four days off, works five days, get Five days off.Gene is a very easygoing child, but shy at first.He will be starting kindergarten in September at Highland School (private school next town over).He is very artistic and loves to draw, pretend cook, and roll play.Next year school will start at 8am and go until 2:30pm; he'll need to be dropped off and picked up.There will not be any after school related activities. Adam is more rambunctious; he loves to play with his cars and action figures.His school starts at 9:15am and goes until 12:l5pm.He still takes an afternoon nap each day.Both boys get along very well; they love to wrestle, play together, and especially won't go anywhere without the other.Carly is 8 months old; she's the only girl.She normally takes one to two naps a day.Along with school and Toddling' Time, the children belong to a play group that meets once every week at one members house for about three hours, normally 3pm to 5pm.Here, they play with other children their ages.The family live in a single family home in the suburbs of Washington DC.All places of interest, malls, monuments, museums, parks, etc.are easily accessible by the nearby interstate.DC is about a 35min drive from the family's house.In the DC area there are many different cultural and social opportunities for the au pair to experience.There are two guestrooms for the au pair to chose from, one upstairs next to the children's room and the other in the basement.Both rooms have a private bath and are equipped with a television.A personal car will be provided to the au pair to use during her leisure time and/or to help drive the children somewhere.In the household, since the children are so young the rules that are mostly enforced are manners and tidiness; the au pair is expected to follow these rules.They're usually enforced with the kids through "time outs" or the removal of a toy.In November, the family has planned a trip to Disney World for ten days, for which the au pair is expected to come.Also, Carol and the children visit her parents in Michigan during the summer for a few weeks.There are two separate houses with multiple bedrooms/bathrooms.There is a small possibility of visiting her parents in Michigan for New Years, but it's still not certain.The au Pair will also be expected to travel with Carol and the children to Michigan.The family is looking forward to hosting an au pair this coming year and anticipates a wonderful experience.Tillträde: Hösten -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
