Au Pair/Washington, D.C

Our family lives in Washington, D.C., the nation's capital.We live in the heart of the city, in a wonderful neighborhood known as Capitol Hill, which is close to the metro, shops, museums, and cinema.The people are friendly and there is lots to do!Also, there are lots of young people, including other au pairs, in the area.Our au pair has her own room, bath and big closet, with a private entrance to the outside.Sara will enter tenth grade in September at a large private school for girls in grades 4 - 12.Bill, who will be in sixth grade in the fall, attends a small private school in our neighborhood for children in grades pre-kindergarten through 8.Sara is a vary mature, responsible, hard-working, and kind 14 year old. Sara is a happy, independent and caring child.She has a delightful sense of humor.She also is involved in lots of activities including soccer, ballet, squash, softball, and basketball.In addition, she plays the flute.In sixth grade, she will have more homework than ever before and our au pair will work with her to make sure it all gets done.Sara is studying in England for a month so our an pair this summer has Lots of free time. Sara is in school on Monday and Friday until 3:05.On Wednesday she gets out at 2:10.On Tuesday and Thursday, she gets out at 3:40.We love spending time with the children after work and on the weekends, so our au pair typically works much less than the permitted 45 hours/week.
