Au Pair/Westfield, New Jersey.

We live in Westfield, New Jersey and have been here since Diane was a about one year.I grew up in town and much of my family remains in town, including both of my parents, a couple of my brothers and a number of cousins.It's a great community environment in which to raise a family.Malcolm and I both work locally, so we play an active role in our kids' lives.We are often home after school for homework help and activities.We have had au pairs living/working with us for the past 10 years.Having an au pair has enabled our children to continue to grow while maintaining some of the same consistencies of our family lifestyle.Our experience with au pairs has shown that they have had the opportunity to meet a number of American families and enjoy the first hand experience of some of the cultural diversities in the states.Additionally, our au pairs have created friendships with other au pairs in the cluster.The kids' scheduled activities revolve around school.Tobias and Diane are in school all day and often engage in some type of activity after school (i.e.piano, Swimming, tennis, soccer, baseball, etc.).Andreas attends school 3 mornings and will attend 5 mornings in September at a local preschool.He also has activities in his down time.Weekends and evenings are generally reserved for family time (when there is not practice or a game). As I mentioned, we live in Westfteld which is located about 45 minutes from Manhattan.It is a charming town with great town support and spirit.We have a true "downtown" area that offers shopping to accommodate most everybody's needs.Very often you may find parents/babysitters strolling with children through town to window shop or have coffee at one of the cafes.We live on a quiet cul-de-sac about a mile and a half from town.Our home is a six bedroom, four and a half bathroom colonial built in the 1930's and renovated about a year ago.Westfield has been a terrific place to provide an au pair with opportunities to enrich their cultural experience.Situated in central New Jersey, we have easy access to Manhattan as well as the beaches along the shore.I believe our au pairs have been very pleased with their experiences in the United States and all of the cultural and natural benefits of the area.I look forward to providing another Au pair with the opportunity to experience some of the same benefits, while at the same time provide the Au pair with a strong sense of family and community.Tillträde: Sommaren -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
