Au Pair/Weston, Connecticut

He is a good student, somewhat shy and enjoys all sports, especially baseball and snowboarding.His hobbies also include bike riding, art and videogames.Mark is 6 years old and in kindergarten.He is a very outgoing child and loves school.He enjoys soccer, karate and music and is hoping to begin guitar lessons next year.Oliver is 3 years old and enrolled in a nearby preschool.He is athletic and like his older brothers, he loves sports.He loves playing ball, skateboarding and just jumping makes him happy.Peter is just 4 months old and is a happy baby, well loved by his older brothers.Carl works in finance and commutes by train into Manhattan everyday.Isabelle works 2.5 days a week as a physician at nearby Yale University.We live in Weston, Connecticut a suburb about 45 miles north of New York City. There are many nearby shopping malls, movie theaters, community colleges and libraries.There are many au pairs in our community.We have a 6-bedroom house in a neighborhood with many children.Our house has a pool and tennis court and is adjacent to a nature preserve where we like to hike in the woods when time permits.Although our house is fairly large, we plan to build an addition this spring to update the kitchen and living room.Our current au pair has her own bedroom with a private bathroom adjacent to a play/TV room in the basement which was recently renovated last fall.We also have a 3 bedroom guest house on our property.We enjoy family vacations and most often expect to bring our au pair along.In the winter we always go skiing for long weekends in Vermont and Maine.Every summer we spend 3 weeks at a beach in a house on Block Island, Rhode Island.The boys love the ocean and enjoy the unscheduled time off from camp and school.We are planning a trip to Washington DC in April to tour our nation's capital.Our family is happy and very busy.The older boys have play dates, after school activities and team sports games on the weekends.We expect our au pair to play with the children, prepare them simple meals, help keep them organized and help drive them to various activities.Even though we also have a weekly cleaning service come to the house, as a member of our household we expect our au pair to clean up after him/herself, keep his/her room neat, and help keep the kids rooms neat.We have had an excellent experience with our first and current au pair and are hoping to find someone who is responsible, energetic and loves kids!Tillträde: Vintern/hösten -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
