About us
The Audio Systems group is responsible for hardware, software and system development of all the audio functionality in the cars. Apart from the sound systems the responsibility also includes systems like ANC (Active Noise Control), Microphones, Bluetooth Handsfree and Exterior Sound for Hybrid/Electrical vehicles. Project Management and Audio Tuning is also part of the group’s responsibilities. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software responsible.
The office for this role is at Lindholmen, Gothenburg, Sweden.
What´s in it for you
You will be part of an agile team and will be responsible for securing quality of our supplier software by leading joint reviews both for software and cyber security. You will make sure that we comply with latest base tech specifications and are releasing the delivered software after internal tests. You will work closely with international external partners on a regular basis.
You and your skills
You are a team player with strong communications skills and a genuine interest in technology. You can work independently and take required actions on own initiative. You are a fast learner with an analytical and solution-based mindset. Your technical competence and ability to collaborate to manage complex situations will bring out great decisions and technical solutions. You are happy to share your best practices and equally happy to learn from others.
You would carry an University degree in electrical/computer engineering or have gained equivalent skills from experience of working within these areas. You would bring experience from working as a software project manager within the automotive industry. Of course if you have experience from Volvo Cars it would be very beneficial in this role.
