BENKE RYDMAN IS HOLDING
AUDITION FOR DANCERS
13th-14th OF JUNE IN STOCKHOLM
 
Stockholm City Theatre (Kulturhuset Stadsteatern) is looking for ten dancers for the upcoming production directed and choreographed by Fredrik "Benke" Rydman, scheduled to premiere on the main stage in August 2025.
This will be an expansive and interactive production, featuring a collaborative effort with live musicians and actors on stage.
We need ten dancers with strong physicality and distinctive individual expression, rooted in urban and contemporary dance styles. Proficiency in acrobatics, singing, acting, or playing an instrument will be considered advantageous.
Professional stage production experience is required.
Age range: 18-40 years. All languages are welcome.
Applicants must be available in Stockholm from April 2025 for a period of 10-12 months.
Auditions will be held in Stockholm on June 13 and 14, 2024.
The application deadline is June 4, 2024.

About Fredrik ”Benke” Rydman:
Fredrik recently created the show for the 2024 Eurovision winner Nemo and the song "The Code." He has choreographed and toured internationally with his contemporary adaptations of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. In 2019, he won the prestigious dance award
Benois de la Danse for his choreography featuring an industrial robot in Rite of Spring. He is currently a resident director and choreographer at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, where he has choreographed and directed Matilda the Musical.
