We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automation Engineer with a focus on Machine Safety to join our consultancy.
This role focuses on collaborating with the rest of the automation team, working on-site at one of our end clients.

What You Will Do:

- Design and implement machine safety solutions in compliance with current safety standards.

- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses on new and existing automation systems.

- Develop and maintain safety-related parts of control systems (SRP/CS).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of safety principles.

Who You Are:
We are looking for candidates who are not only passionate about machine safety but also thrive in a collaborative environment. You should be proactive, with the ability to manage your tasks efficiently. Crucially, you need to be willing to relocate to the north of Sweden to work on-site in Skellefteå.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in automation engineering with a focus on machine safety.

- Strong knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 13849, IEC 62061, and ISO 12100.

- Experience with safety control systems and safety software tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
