You will be a part of Huskvarna Manufacturing's technology organization, which currently consists of 38 people. The department is responsible for all equipment and systems for our production of professional forestry and felling products. About the role
We are looking for you that has earlier experience as a robot programmer but are also eager to learn and are hungry for new challenges and new technology. Your main task will be to work with improvement projects on existing equipment but also development and programming of new ones. You will have an important role in Huskvarna Manufacturing's plan to take our factories into the next level. The role requires strong technical knowledge, sound experience and people-skills, to effectively solve issues as they arise. Previous experience in industrial automation and mechatronics is a big advantage. Location: Huskvarna, only occasional travel, for example supplier meetings.
Essential Job Functions
Support production by troubleshooting and programming existing plant automation equipment
Program and design new automation cells
Up-to-date knowledge in ABB robots programming to support production needs
Setting up various robot communication protocols (i.e. Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP) and configure I/O and knowledge in setup and training the Vision Systems
Optimizing line flow, cycle time issues and quality concerns through changes in programming or troubleshooting
Contribute to the development of new technology to make the plant more efficient in the daily work

About you
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor of Science in related field (Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechatronics, etc.) or equal experience in automation field.
3+ years of working with ABB robots
Proficient with Robotic Path Teaching, understanding of Cartesian coordinate system and able to read Electrical and Pneumatic drawings.
Fluent in English or Swedish, both oral and written

Plus are earlier experience in Troubleshooting with PLC programs, basic programming in other programming languages (i.e. Python, C# language), create Robotic Simulations of Robotic Stations.
