Automotive Integration/ Test Environment Engineer

On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for an Integration/ Test Environment Engineer. The mission will start in the end of January where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 11 months. Arbetsuppgifter

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Plan Test Environments based on the input from Test Analysts and Test Managers
• Integrate and prepare Test Environments based on the input above including:
o Test objects (rigs, trucks) configuration
o Virtual environment (internal virtual rigs called VRIG, VPS) configuration
o Scripts, frameworks, automation infrastructure
o Communication Boxes
o Cables and adapters
• Prepare test data and Central System / Backoffice setup for:
o QA environments
o Campaign KITs
o Environment chooser (internal tool)
o VDA, NAMS (internal systems)
• Build up automation environments for our future Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts.
• Allocation and maintenance of computer environment including:
o Computer specifications (RAM, HD, OS, etc.)
o Installation
o Infrastructure
o Easyfix (internal tool)
• Allocation of test objects (rigs, test benches, trucks, i.e.) and test data
• Maintenance of test objects (update, scripting, etc.)
• Propose and drive improvements to the testing and integration process

Utbildning/erfarenhet

Essential skills and needed experience:
• Previous experience as Test and/or Integration Engineer (3+ years) and documented knowledge in software integration/testing methodologies
• The traceability is a key word for quality securing of our methods and results so both planning and reporting in different tools is requested.
• Genuine knowledge of the electronics/SW testing techniques and process (Implementation and Verification cycle, so called V-cycle, etc.)
• Documented knowledge in the field of embedded/application software
• International and multi-cultural business experience within global organizations
• Excellent English, other languages considered to be a merit.
