The AB Volvo, Group Accounting department is responsible for the closing of Volvo Group's books, producing internal management reports and external financial reports.The department is providing policies and instructions regarding accounting standards and in financial reporting issues.The Group Accounting department works in close cooperation with the Business Areas' and Business Units' financial reporting departments as well as other AB Volvo departments.As our financial controller focusing on tax accounting is leaving the company, we are now aiming to replace her. Job description The job includes responsibility for important parts of the Volvo Group financial closing and reporting, and active contribution in different projects within finance.Your main area of responsibility will be the Volvo Group Tax Accounting, to ensure that this is in accordance with the FPP and the IFRS regulations.The job includes active communication with the Group's subsidiaries, the AB Volvo Tax department and our external auditors.We offer you an interesting job in a challenging environment with good opportunities to personal development.Who are you?You are expected to have a business degree, preferable accounting major, or similar and some years of relevant experience, where you have gained solid and proven experience from financial reporting and group accounting preferably with a focus on tax accounting.
