Backend Techlead and offshore development liaison

Our mission is to maximise the benefit of owning a home, and minimise the friction of being a homeowner.
With our team located in Stockholm and our Development team located in Ukraine, together we have created an amazing product that has reached a milestone of having over 11000 registered users around the world. Now we are looking for a tech lead, based in Stockholm, to handle new challenges. 


We are now looking for a Tech lead that can own the back end development strategy, and be a liaison between the Stockholm team and the distributed developers in Ukraine. In order for you to succeed in this role you must have the following skills that you gained by having years of experience:
Advanced knowledge and experience in AWS Ecosystem: DocumentDB, Cloudfront, ECS, RDS, Rekognition Service, Elasticache etc.
Knowledge in Analytics tools like Intercom, BigQuery, Firebase
Messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Firebase notifications)
Knowledge about iOS and Android notification methods, websockets and their drawbacks.
Experience in working with Redis
Expert level skills in Node.js Typescript development
Perform code reviews and deploys to production
Ability to set up programing standards for other team members
High performance query development skills in SQL and Javascript (for documentDB)
Experience of building distribution engines for information distribution
Experienced in developing scalable architecture for startups
Security protocols and data integrity architecture
Knowledge of design patterns
Undertake regular code reviews 
Fluent in English and Ukrainian



It will be a plus if you have the following skills as well:
Knowledge about machine learning / AI tools and frameworks
Ability to express technical knowledge to business stakeholders.
