Barista Djäkne Kaffebar

Djäkne Kaffebar is the heart of Djäkne Startup Studio and located in the center of Malmö. Djäkne Startup Studio offers a unique environment with a one of a kind concept surrounded by startups, entrepreneurs and creative professionals.


Djäkne Kaffebar is now looking for a barista to join our team.
At Djäkne we like to work with great people, we love good quality products and we are very passionate about specialty coffee. If you are an enthusiastic and service-minded person with prior barista experience then we would like you to be part of our team. Part of our concept at Djäkne is that every month we present a new coffee roaster to the town of Malmö, so working at Djäkne will also give you the opportunity to explore the big world of specialty coffee.


Responsibilities:
• Making all coffee drinks to order.
• Preparing and serving breakfast to our customers and Djäkne members.
• As part of our team actively helping to develop the Djäkne concept.
• Making our customers feel comfortable with a welcoming and positive attitude.
• Organizing and handling ordering for the coffee bar.
• Scheduling a smaller team.
• Helping us to organize events, workshops and activities.
• Organizing and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.


Qualification/ Requirements:
• Prior experience with specialty coffee.
• Good latte-art skills and willingness to develop and train your latte art skills.
• Knowledge of hand brewing methods (V-60, Chemex, Aeropress, Cold brew).
• Good hospitality and communication skills.
• A passion for coffee, food and quality service.
• A knowledge of what’s the newest trends and developments in the world of coffee.

The hours are split between Monday to Friday, 07.00 - 19.00.
