Baseband SoC Specialist

We are looking for a 5G Baseband SoC/ASIC specialist to tackle the challenges of developing multi-standard solutions for the next generation of wireless products.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for SoC/ASIC architecture design for 5G wireless products, Defining requirement specifications, evaluating IPs, defining hardware blocks, creating simulation environment, running the simulation, driving technical studies, and coordinating works between different teams.
• Work closely with physical layer algorithm developers, hardware designers, and embedded SW experts.
• The project is organized closely with the Huawei wireless teams in Shanghai.
Qualifications requirements
• PhD in electrical engineering, computer architecture, or equivalent background is required.
• More than 5+ years of industrial or academic experience in areas of SoC, such as processors, interconnect, interfaces, scheduling, cache/DMA, memory system, power consumption, and design methodology.
• Knowledge of embedded SW and hands-on skills in block design with Verilog/VHDL. C++ or system C experience is strongly required.
• Knowledge of wireless physical layer applications is preferred.
Other preferred knowledge or experience may include
• Knowledge of wireless physical layer application.
• Experience in program analysis and performance optimizations.
• Experience in developing multi-threaded software.
• Experience with functional and performance modelling.
• Knowledge of micro-architecture.
