Our client´s Bid Managers will go on parental leave in mid July 2020 and be back again mid December 2020. During this time they are seeking a Bid Manager to work with large and complex deals in the area within IoT.
The company´s target customers are global companies with or potential to a large connected fleet. Their four focus verticals are Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Utilites & Smart cities, Transport & Logistics. The sales team are divided into 4 regions; Nordics, EMEA, UK/US and APAC. The Bid & Commercial team support all regions.Activities to be performed:
• Together with sales team qualify incoming RFXs.
• Together with the Bid core team identify and involve representatives of relevant departments to form a complete bid team, co-coordinating resources and communicating the bid strategy.
• Managing the RFX response process. Be the end to end timeline keeper for the critical path and key milestones and report against missed deadlines taking remedial action directly or through flagging to appropriate owner of task.
• Compose the Main response/written proposal containing executive summary and conclusion of solution according to requirements.
• Compile, edit, and proof read commercial proposals & RFX replies.
• Develop, update and maintain computer based document store and reference template materials for complex RFXs.
• Ensure the control of the technical validation and implementation feasibility of bids are made.
• Support Sales on customer negotiations of complex deals.
• Control Bid documentation is in accordance with internal approvals.
• Coordinate Customer compliance audits carried out by the Customer´s sourcing department.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Responsible for managing the BidBoard (forum for Approval of Bids): setting requirements on participants that will be presenting cases to the BidBoard to ensure the purpose of the forum is accomplished: decision forum, vetting material to be presented, documenting decisions taken on BidBoard in accordance with internal governance requirements
Competence requirements
Required:
• This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills as well as a structured way of work.
• Fluent in both speaking/writing in English and Swedish.
• Excellent in Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint.
• We are seeking a prestigeless team player with a positive and optimistic can do attitude that are willing to do that little extra that often means so much. Creative and innovative approach to challenges and problems. Solution oriented and creative with high structural capabilities. Collected and organized under pressure.
Preferred:
• Excellent in formulating and writing texts.
• Experience in IoT.
• Experience in Salesforce ERP system
