You will be part of GPQS (Grid Power and Quality Solutions), a business unit within HAPG’s Power Quality division located in Västerås. The unit develops, manufactures and sells STATCOM systems (static synchronous compensator) on a global market. This HAPG developed STATCOM is a regulating device used on alternating current electricity transmission networks. It is based on a power electronics voltage-source converter and can act as either a source or sink of reactive AC power to an electricity network. If connected to a source of power, it can also provide active AC power.
Hitachi ABB Power Grids is in the implementation phase of BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes and tools for GPQS project execution.

In this role you will work with BIM coordination across GPQS projects and together with Global BIM Coordinator set requirements in the GPQS organisation for efficient implementation of BIM.
For each project execution your responsibility is to make sure that the following is handled;

BIM is implemented in a pragmatic way
The BIM Execution Plan (BEP) clearly addresses the projects BIM uses and is aligned with the Employers Information Requirements (EIR’s)
The BEP answers the: who, what, where, how and why of BIM for the project
All stakeholders are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities related to BIM and identify any training needed in the project team
All stakeholders have the necessary hardware / software and resources and skills to deliver this project
All the BIM processes and procedures are clearly described for the project
Manage and deliver BIM coordination

Your background
As a foundation, you have a minimum of a bachelor’s Degree in engineering /Civil Design or a related field, combined with experience in 3D Modelling.
You have deep knowledge in BIM processes, policies, technology and application.
Additionally, you also possess on-site project experience dealing with contractors and site teams, understanding the dynamics of the design versus construction.
It’s required that you have experience from Revit Architecture MagiCAD, Dynamo, Solibri, AutoCAD and Navisworks, and experience from BIM model and data coordination.
You have a general knowledge of National and International BIM standards.
Experience from BIM implementations is qualifying.
On a personal level you have experience to lead and manage a team (people) to effectively and efficiently implement the BIM processes using the proper tools (technology) as per the Employers Information Requirement’s (policies) in a dynamic project environment.
You are proactive, and capable to mitigate disputes and solve BIM related problems between stakeholders as per the project policies, as well as present results and explain errors to the Client
In this role you need to be self-motivated and work effectively both independently and as part of the team.
You need to have a high level of integrity and a results-based orientation.
It’s important that you communicate well at all levels of the customer project and get your messages across in a coherent and clear way.
Fluency in English is required, whereas Swedish and other additional languages are highly valued.
