Blasting Worker

Minnovation is now searching for a Blasting worker for our business partner. The Blasting Worker is responsible for handling of explosives, detonator, operation of charging machine for rock excavation on surface or underground.
Responsibilities
To be fully training by the explosive supplier for handling the explosive material.
To be fully training by the explosive supplier, exactly and completely follow the working procedure of mixing, charging, and explode the explosive material.
Follow the design parameters and instructions from the Site Manager of each blasting.
Operate the computer intelligence charging machine on the surface and underground.
Handle the data logo of the charging machine, upload and download the related data.
Responsible for the general maintenance of charging machine, as assistant for the regular maintenance together with machine supplier.
Responsible to monitor the performance of the charging machine, once the machine out of order, report to the site manager.
If necessary, follow the instructions from the site manager to assist other works.



Requirements
Knowledge of handling explosive material
Knowledge of operating and general maintenance of charging machine
Minimum of five (5) years, full-time experience in the mining industry or infrastructure industry as a blasting worker
Fluent in spoken Swedish and English
