Group Store Design delivers architect and design services to several brands globally. Job Description
We are now looking for Brand Lead to join us on our future journey. As part of our team you will act as a strategic partner as well as main point of contact for one of our brands within H&M Group. You will be the brand’s spokesperson within the Store Design organization and will be responsible to ensure high quality of all designs and plans of retail space and offices for your brand. You will engage, train and develop brand specialized Store Designers based on brand needs and participate in various development projects, and will at times be hands on yourself. You will be a key person in helping your brand to fulfil their physical retail strategy from a store design perspective.
Your responsibilities
Act as the strategic partner to your brand within the H&M Group brand portfolio, being the window to all available learnings as well as resources at Group Store Design
Know your brand (i.e. brand identity, conceptual solutions, interior products and commercial aspects) as well as key brand stakeholders
Train and educate colleagues in brand related aspects relevant to Group Store Design
Collaborate with the brand in ensuring store designs highly aligned with brand’s identity in physical space
At times or based on need, develop designs and plans for new retail space and non-commercial units for your dedicated brand
Be active member in agile cross-functional teams that includes members from Expansion, brands and markets
Plan, manage and follow up on multiple and parallel architectural deliveries, both your own as well as your colleague

Qualifications
We are looking for an experiences Architect or Interior Designer who wants to be a part of driving the success of H&M Group further. You have an overall understanding of and experience from spatial development, from conceptual work to full scale detailing and a great interest in fashion and retail. You are an open-minded team player who enjoys working in an international environment and have the ability to handle multiple complex projects at the same time. We believe you to be brave in your way of working, you get energy from trying the unfamiliar with an agile mindset and always welcoming the unexpected. You are communicative person with a positive attitude, you take ownership of your work and always give it your best. Most importantly of all, we want you to be you, we encourage diversity and welcome candidates from all backgrounds!
We believe you have:
At least 5-10 years working experience within the area of architecture, preferably within commercial/retail architecture or interior design with focus on store concept development and/or store design and planning
Minimum a bachelor’s degree within Architecture or Interior Design
Strong leadership skills, formal leadership experience is meriting but not a must
Good understanding of the various stages of real estate projects, from initiation to completion and follow up, i.e. exploration, negotiation, building of business cases, approval stages, design, ordering and construction
Ability to prioritize and service multiple projects concurrently
Strong project management skills, ability to oversee and manage multiple projects in complex environments involving several stakeholders
Great communication and presentation skills
Goal-oriented problem solver with commitment to deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment
Possesses ability to think outside of the box and develop creative solutions
Proficient in Sketch-Up, Enscape, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent program
Fluent in English
Ability to travel

Additional Information
This is permanent position based at H&M Group Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden. The role will include international travels.
