Description


Your mission as Brand portfolio strategist is to make sure that the Volvo CE product and services brand portfolio and commercial offering is clearly structured and easy to understand for all our stakeholders – today and in the future!


You will collaborate daily with colleagues across our global company and as well as various external partners securing that the brand strategy roadmap and policies are implemented and continuously developed according to the company needs. You will be involved in development of strategic partnerships, applying suitable co-branding and re-branding strategies. An important part of your network will be counterparts within Volvo Group and the other Volvo business areas (Trucks, Buses and Penta) as we should be experienced as one Volvo brand. Frequent presence in / travel to Gothenburg may be required.


The following are some examples of areas of responsibility
Draw up a strategic map and plan of product and services branding, including structure and naming
Support the organization in the daily operation with guidance about structure and naming of offerings, digital platforms, technologies etc.
Enforce and develop the product designation/naming policy as needed
Handle Multi-brand & Co-branding questions, partner branding and support acquisitions regarding branding
Set up/ secure implementation of efficient routines for administrative approvals and support such as trademark applications and infringements.

Who are you?


You are a skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing (English) and you have strong intercultural skills. We believe you have a relevant academic degree and leadership experience from roles that has similar requirements.
As a new member of our team, you bring a truly holistic mindset with a passion for creating value for customers with an outside-in mindset. You know how to drive change and you have a well-developed visionary strategic understanding and thinking. We believe you are structured, can take in large amounts of information, identify patterns, and draw conclusions and present it in a way that will guide decision making.
