Division Crushing & Screening, part of Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, is a market leading manufacturer of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. Right now, we’re looking for a detailed and collaborative Business Accountant with a true passion for numbers and figures. This is a great opportunity to truly sharpen your economic skills by developing together with us. We offer you a dynamic and inclusive environment, and a broad global network!

About the job
As a Business Accountant, you’re part of our Finance and Controlling team, where we play an important role in ensuring a solid economic setting, and you support our operations with the analysis and tools we need to optimize our performance. This means working with consolidation and on time reporting of actuals, forecasts and target results - including sales, order intake and our order book – and you follow up, analyze and comment on your conclusions to enable an informed base for decision-making, increased revenue and high profitability. You actively measure, support and challenge cost center owners, and you provide the organization with operative admin guidance of our finance IT tools. Other important parts of your job is to evaluate and ensure usefulness of suitable methods, tools and processes, represent our finance function in development activities and take part in suggesting and driving improvements related to reporting and forecasting accuracy.

This position is based at our division headquarters in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station.

About you
We’re looking for someone with a Masters in Economics, and at least three years’ experience from working in a large, global organization – preferable within the manufacturing industry. You have solid understanding of accounting and financial control, as well as in debt knowledge of commercial financial terms such as revenue, margins, order intake and order books. Skills in various business platforms, including ERP, BI Tools and Excel are also needed to be successful in this job. Since we interact in a global setting, you must be fluent in both English and Swedish.

You have an analytical approach and know how to translate numbers into business value. Your ways of working are based on structure, proactivity and thoroughness, and you’re passionate about delivering a high level of economic support to the organization. On top of this, you truly enjoy interacting with others and you make sure to establish excellent and reliable collaborations – both within the team and with our stakeholders.
