We are looking for a Business Analyst within the PPM area, the assignment therefore includes BA tasks for a running solution used by Project Managers, as well as improving, developing ways of working within the Project Portfolio Management area.
Business Analyst: Project Online is a common solution for the project management process thereby defining and standardizing working methods and workflows for project planning, execution and follow up.
Portfolio Management: supporting the strategic, tactical and operational work and enabling proactive steering. You will actively participate and support activities with the aim to improve and simplify ways of working connected to the Portfolio Management area.
The scope of the consultant services is to assist our customer in
Project Online (25%): The business analyst is responsible for gathering and describing business needs, requirement management and solution evaluation.
Portfolio Management (75%): Initiate, participate and lead activities and improvements of working methods and processes as a part of the Business Navigation and Portfolio Management Community.
A day at work will look like:
-Coaching and training of stakeholders in different parts of the organisation such as; PM´s, Portfolio Managers, Business owners etc.
-Drive change management in the PPM area
-Elicit, analyse, challenge and document business needs.
-Identify the business consequences and risks for solution alternatives for process, organisation, tools and information.
-Assure quality and traceability of stakeholder needs and business requirements, and support the evaluation of solution alternatives.
-Communicate, clarify and safeguard evolving business needs
-Review test plans and test cases to ensure compliance to the requirements, support the planning and execution of testing activities
-Securing and handing over requirement related artifacts to development and line organisation
Extensive knowledge and experience in business analysis and modelling, and the requirements management process.
Basic knowledge of configuration management and validation, including test methods and tools.
Ability to address challenges creatively and pragmatically. Working with the big picture and in small details.
Excellent listening skills, and able to communicate complex scenarios in a structured and comprehensive way.
Ability to lead with a business mind-set, challenge stakeholders and determine what is relevant.
Ability to plan and facilitate workshops and activities.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
