Business Analyst (IS Solutions Developer)

We are looking for a Business Analyst for both operational and project support.The Business Analyst will work closely with the business to understand their needs, assist in business process redesign, and apply processes in the business systems.

The main tasks for the business analyst are:

- Analysis and mapping of business processes
- Identify, discuss, and suggest areas for improvement
- Develop project plans to implement the changes
- Functional setup of the business system
- Operational support on business systems

Norba is currently using IFS version 2000C, using an Oracle database, as its main business system.Aside from some needed configuration improvements, IFS does not provide all of the systems functionality needed.Therefore, the business analyst will also engage in the development of necessary "side systems" - this could refer to Microsoft Access or Excel based reporting applications or more elaborate Oracle or SQL Server based systems.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

- Experience in business analysis, preferably with IFS and/or Oracle
- Experience in at least some of our process area's: Manufacturing, Service, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Finance, Human Resource Management;
- Possess technical skills in database administration or systems development;
- Have a drive to come to solutions;
- Can think analytically and solve problems;
- Are capable to translate needs expressed by end users to IT solutions;
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- Have a good sense of humor;
- Are team worker but can work independently as well;
- Live in the Kalmar area, or are willing to move there;
