Business Analyst Manufacturing Systems
The organisation Manufacturing and Supply Chain IT in Volvo Cars IT is responsible for IT in Volvo Cars' industrial processes, Production, Production support, Materials supply from suppliers and Material flow
control between an within plants.
The main part of our personnel is located at our industrial sites in Torslanda, Skövde, Olofström, Uddevalla, Maastricht in Holland and Gent in
Belgium.
We are now looking for a Business Analyst for the application area VCT. The position is in the VCT MP&L IT department located at the Torslanda Plant,
Gothenburg.
Job Description:
Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the business requirements
Aware of technical needs of the assigned customer group
Develops and maintains the Business Requirements Documents
Develops the conceptual model of the customer requirements
Define and formalize customer and user requirements through application development, enhancement and maintenance
Develops and delivers presentations and various business models to communicate and understanding of business needs, features and system requirements
Engages appropriate technical experts during initial project phases
Perform acceptance test with customer
Provide training within the Business Modelling and Requirements disciplines, e.g. Use Case modelling.
Identify opportunities, lead studies and lead development activities.
Maintain relationship with the business.
Primary skills required:
Develop, model, gather and document all type of documents and diagrams
(Activity diagram, Use Case diagram etc.) within the business modeling and requirements diciplin.
An understanding for how requirements are transformed into an analysis model.
General knowledge in the Test discipline
Skilled in gathering business requirements from business processes to use cases
Self motivated and strong driving force.
Skilled in leading modelling seminar and strive forwards to capture all participants requirements.
Good communication skills
Strong written and verbal English and Swedish
