Business Coordination Team - Business Analyst
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Coordination Team, to, by utilizing technology, drive improvements in standardization, automation, and other efficiencies to enable the team to focus on more value-added services.
You will be working with the Business Coordination Team and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and automation within our processes. You will digitalization on voyage closing & performance analysis. Analyze BO Performance and initiate improvements. Support trade teams in data driven decision making.
This role will also require you to collaborate with IT and BI to structure large data sets to find usable information with which you will create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
Consolidate BO West trade performance. Develop/generate automated voyage closing system and analytic reports in Power BI. To design Operational Report (frequency, transit time, dwell time etc.) in BI for key customers and periodically distribute to all stakeholders. Alignment with Business Coordination East in performance result reporting. Produce ‘KPI Management Reports’. Coordinate/manage yearly business plans.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
More than 3-year-experience in Logistics industry Excellent IT skills to initiate digitalization. Strong Excel, SQL, Power BI. BI and data analytics or data science methodologies knowledge. Comprehensive understanding on shipping industry is a merit. Excellent analytical skills and ability to grasp big data. Result oriented and proactive attitude in identifying improvement area. Excellent communication/language skills. Able to work across countries and cultures. Team oriented.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for you who have a very good understanding of which logistics costs that can be influenced and in what way for example transport lead time, costs in the port, etc. can be cost reduced. You are a person who creates a proactive approach improvement by demonstrating analyzes for increased improvement potential.
What are the three most essential competencies required to succeed in this role?
Strong analytical and IT skills to develop/develop all digitalized reports in Power BI. In depth knowledge on all BO trades business network as well as cargo, revenue, and cost structures. Ability to grasp big data and to initiate performance improvement with data driven decision-making platform.
Some travel is to be expected.
This role is located in Stockholm.
