Business Controller

Sandvik Tooling develops and manufactures tools and tooling systems for metal cutting, as well as wear parts and super abrasive components.Solutions using products in cemented carbide, high-speed steel, synthetic diamond, cubic boron nitride and special ceramics.The Common Process Supply is one of Sandvik Tooling's five Common Processes.The overall responsibility and purpose of the Common Process is to supply the Tooling Product Areas with high quality products, on time and at the lowest possible cost.We are now looking for a Business Controller on a temporary post, from September 2010 to June 2011.The position is based in Sandviken, Sweden.Key performance areas The role of Tooling Supply Finance is to support decision making and the development of the Supply process from a financial perspective, provide timely and accurate financial information to the Tooling organization, identify potential business problems and opportunities in the Supply process and give early warnings so that the organization can be proactive rather than reactive.As a member of the Controller team your main responsibilities will be: - Participate in the work to improve the quality of financial and operational (KPI) reporting by actively questioning and giving feed back to the reporting entities of Tooling Supply - Contribute to the process of Business planning, forecasting and follow-up by creating own reports, analyzes and comments - Take part in generating and developing KPI-reports - Support production unit controllers with education and Guidelines - Develop and maintain a personal network with controllers, production managers and Tooling Supply management Your profile You hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics or a Master of Business Administration with a couple of years experience of business controlling in a large industrial company.You have a drive to improve processes and are able to work independently and find your own solutions, but you also enjoy working together with others in a team.You are an analytic problem solver with great numerical analytical skills.You are able to use your own judgment to prioritize and to take balanced decisions.You are fluent in English, spoken as well as written.Recruiter Irene Sveen Sandvik Tooling is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for cutting operations as well as of blanks and components.Annual sales 2009 were about SEK 19,000 M with 15,000 employees.Products are manufactured in cemented carbide, high-speed steel and other hard materials such as diamond, cubic boron nitride and special ceramics.
