BUSINESS CONTROLLER
Amplifier Game Invest is one of eight operational divisions of Embracer Group. We have the ambition to build one of the world's most attractive homes for passionate game developers and their studios, empowering their aspirations and creativity for sustainable, long-term success.
To reach this goal, we invest in game studios, developers and their designs to support them in becoming creatively and financially successful through the development and sales of great game experiences.
We leverage our game industry experience to mentor, encourage and challenge our studios and be active members of the global game development community.
We are currently a distributed team of ten employees, centered around our main office in Stockholm, Sweden.
Our organisation have active investments in 14 independent game studios across Europe and North America, with over 210 employees under our wing.
As a step for strengthening and expanding our Finance Department we are now looking to hire a full-time Business Controller on site in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Business Controller will be part of the finance team supporting our group of game studios, and will report directly to the CFO.
For this role, we would like to see a structured and communicative candidate with at least a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent), 3-6 years of relevant experience in areas like accounting and group reporting, with strong analytical skills, ability to present results in a clear way, and well versed in Excel / Google Sheets.
As the role involves Swedish financial reporting in an international setting, native or near-native Swedish and fluency in English is a necessity.
Experience from the Games Industry is a strong merit for this position.
Job description
Apart from the Business Controlling role, the Business Controller will also be responsible for Financial and Business Analysis, Planning, Budget work, Sales and EBIT Forecasting, and following up on ongoing projects, ROI and SPA points in post acquisition scenarios, and various other tasks.
What we like to see in a candidate
• Bachelor Degree in business and administration or similar
• 3 to 6 years relevant experience.
• Excellent skills in Excel / Google Sheets
• Accounting and consolidation experience
• Structured and into details with an ability to present results in a clear way
• Strong analytical skills
• An active interest in and experience from the Games Industry is a strong merit
• Fluency in Swedish and English
