About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for our full business control scope connected to the Business Area Segment. You’re part of the team setting financial targets, prioritize what activities we should focus on, and are involved in both planning and execution. As part of our growth ambition, which includes M&As, you might be involved in these processes and the following integration of acquired companies. To succeed, you set clear expectations and solid structures and you collaborate closely with financial resources both within SMF and with Sandvik Group finance functions in aligning internal financial systems, regulations and ways of working. Based on accurate results and grounded forecasts, you prepare reporting and business decision material. You communicate clearly and exact and are able to transform numbers into strong business advantages. An important part of your job is to ensure compliance with internal frameworks, as well as global laws and regulations.
You’re a valued member of the finance management team within SMF and you report to the CFO of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions. The location for this position is at our site Gasverket in Stockholm, Sweden, and it’s possible to work some of your time remotely. As we’re a global business, travel might be required.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a background in business control combined with an understanding of the finance performance process. You have very good knowledge in accounting and are an excellent user of Excel. We believe that your knowledge is backed by a university degree in finance or business. If you also have experience from M&A, BPC and IFRS as well as an audit background it’s beneficial. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent English skills, both written and verbal, knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
Being an analytical, quality conscious and thorough financial partner, you easily know how to explain the meaning of numbers and figures and turn them into strategic business advantages. You’re also service driven and ambitious, working proactively with a sense of urgency when the situation calls for it. On top of this, you’re the number one collaborator and an inspirational team player – someone who is comfortable in challenging us and making things happen.
